Our headline growth for the first 6 months has given Actimax an increase in EBITDA of 5% and considering the current trading conditions is extremely good. The recurring revenue has increased by 11% in the same period to 72% and total sales by 6%.
Actimax continues to benefit from a range of business critical services and we are increasingly able to win new business from larger competitors by offering the bespoke and innovative solutions that help clients meet cost saving targets and improve their business processes.
Our continuing growth of voice over IP and WiFi solutions, for which we have won the Best Enterprise Converged solutions and the Best WiFi solution awards in the National Channel Network Awards in October 2009, is a testament to our ability to provide winning solutions in the current difficult market. We were also awarded reseller of the year and are the only organisation in the country to have won this prestigious award three times in the last ten years.
I am particularly pleased with the successful implementation of the telephone system for East of England Development Agency, which has involved Actimax in the provision of a Mitel 3300 telephony solution, linked in with Microsoft OCS for collaboration purposes, and the Mitel dynamic extension solution providing one number services to EEDA.
We have also provided a solution for the Hurlingham Club in London, to enable them to provide better services, to their members and are also in the process of implementing a new solution for Armajaro Holdings, who specialise in products such as coffee and cocoa. All of these solutions have been won because of our technical expertise and the ability to provide solutions for business end users.
Our product strategy for 2010 now includes a fixed to mobile convergence solution, which combines the benefits of our direct relationship with O2 and our ability to provide Aruba WiFi networks.
We are also continuing to develop our own wide area network solution using the BT 21CN network to provide Ethernet and DSL services for both SIP and Voice Over IP solutions, to a number of our multiple site customers. These product strategies are enabling Actimax to have even more growth in 2010 and also provide a stable platform for us to grow in, in 2011.
